Keyboard Accompanist
The Keyboard Accompanist will work with the church music director,
Essential Job Functions
The pianist/accompanist will meet with the Music Ministry Director
Ready to accompany three hymns, plus incidental worship music, prelude and postlude.
Plays from music notation competently, and is able to adjust tempo.
Attend Sunday service from 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
Attend some special services to be determined by Music Ministry Director
Plusses:
A Pianist/keyboardist with worship and performance experience.
Able to transpose, jam, and/or play from chord sheets. Familiar with the United Methodist Hymnal.
Education and Experience
Experience in reading music
Playing a piano or keyboard and be able to improvise as needed
Compensation and Benefits
Starting Salary Range: $80 - $100 per week
Position is 3-4 hours/week to be paid on a semi-monthly basis on the fifteenth and last day of each month. If a holiday falls on a designated payday, payment will be the day before. If the payday falls on a weekend, payment will be made the Friday prior. The daily schedule is flexible and may be subject to change as needed.

Each staff member is required to sign a confidentiality statement, known as the Confidentiality Pledge and which follows this paragraph, when they are hired. All staff are always expected to use discretion in handling all church records and information.
